For those within reach of the Parkway - hey,
Well, this is a little odd. ^_^; (How about Bush Jr performing something from Rocky Horror next?)
Here's a good rabble-rousing journalist: Greg Palast. (Gods know, the US and UK can do with more people like him, given the subservient complacency exhibited in many mainstream media corridors, in the US especially) The somewhat extensive links on the left column might be of interest, too, such as BushWhacked USA.
As one column on Greg Palast's site notes, "Florida's Gadsden County has the highest percentage of black voters in the state -- and the highest spoilage rate. One in 8 votes cast there in 2000 was never counted." Even if one were to be charitable, and consider this to be without any malice, surely this is an unacceptable ratio - why is it left to be acceptable, whomever may benefit? It's hardly something I've seen made great mention of.
Here! Have a robot bunny.
According to this test:
"You are an SEDF -- Sober Emotional Destructive Follower. This makes you an evil genius. You are extremely focused and difficult to distract from your tasks. With luck, you have learned to channel your energies into improving your intellect, rather than destroying the weak and unsuspecting.
Your friends may find you remote and a hard nut to crack. Few of your peers know you very well -- even those you have known a long time -- because you have expert control of the face you put forth to the world. You prefer to observe, calculate, discern and decide. Your decisions are final, and your desire to be right is impenetrable.
You are not to be messed with. You may explode."
Eep!
Look at this word:

Did you read it the same way I did, and wonder why said community actually has nothing to do with raccoons of any kind?
And on a final note, Box Office Mojo reports Fahrenheit 9/11's first week brought in
slightly over $44m, doubling the number of screens from Friday to a reasonably respectable 1,725. This compares against a typical Hollywood heavy-hitter, such as Spiderman 2, with 4,152 screens. And soon, I'll actually see it. ^_^ Control Room sounds like it'd be worth a look, as well, if anyone happens to be heading along to San Rafael this week.
