For <lj user="ibneko"> - a particularly horrible pun, courtesy of Ozy & Millie, one of the better comics around, and now back on Tuesdays and Thursdays, following an extended break. No sign yet of <a href="http://www.fried.com/>Fried Society returning, though the artist did seem to think it might be possible. (If it's a new one to you, try "Jigsaw", easily one of my favorites)
Interesting.. if this Mac OS X Hints posting is correct, US cable operators are obliged to provide a Firewire-equipped box on request. Thus, HDTV recording becomes quite simple and cheap.
Um. An unusual, furry PC case mod. Not safe for work or maiden aunts. (Now, this is one advantage of a desktop - treating a laptop in such a way would likely cause heat death of the processor in fairly short order, or an extremely hot keyboard)
I was recently exposed to a particular tune, which has subsequently burrowed its way into what passes for my mind and taken up gleeful residence, I can do only one thing: share it with you. Cossack ending theme for an anime, it would seem.
What can I say? A "workout trolley" is being deployed by the leading UK supermarket. It might as well be from Chris Morris and friends.. could you really make this up, though? "It is still some way in the future, but eventually you will have a trolley which greets you by name, wishes you happy birthday, steers you to the meat counter and warns you about your health if you buy too many cakes."
And finally, from the "Don't Point That Thing At Me" department, news of an exploding penis. The good doctor does note, however, "It is very rare for this to happen."
