Its audio is safe for work, but the visuals might be considered unrelated to work activities, or perhaps causing of much puzzlement in children and bosses. That said, this TV spot (2.1MB QuickTime) is worth a look. ^_^

VideoLAN 0.7.0 is now available to download. (For those unaware, it's an open source video player, able to handle a remarkably wide range of formats, and available on a similarly broad range of platforms) Supposedly plenty of core code changes, plus a distinctly more elegant UI for the OS X version, along with "visualisations" - yes, you too can have a 'scope or spectrum analyser along with your anime. ^_^ I'll be interested to see how its efficiency compares against Mplayer, which handled Autechre's "Gantz Graf" rather more smoothly than VLC 0.6.2.
