mycroftb noticed the ultimate action figures: from The Big Lebowski. Nothing can surpass these. And we mustn't overlook He-Man's Fabulous Secret Powers. =:D

Quite a cool entry appeared in the Linden Lab weblog: 10 debug options you should know about, including options like slow motion animations, and rebake textures.

loganberrybunny highlighted the Red Cross National Floods Appeal, if you're wanting to make a donation; and also that one rail company is running a daily bottled water train from Scotland down to Gloucestershire, taking advantage of the colossal haulage capacity of freight rail.

A preview of the Family Guy: Star Wars Special, airing in September. ^_^

'German police called to investigate unusual noises in the garden of a Bremen house late on Monday were surprised to find that a pair of amorous hedgehogs were to blame. After illuminating the garden with spotlights, officers discovered the animals making love beside the pond. "The pair were loudly engaged in ensuring the continuity of their species," said Bremen police spokesman Ronald Walther.'

So, you're stuck in a Very Very White mall in Michigan with a couple friends. What do you do? It's a brilliant little tale of freaks in suburbia. I'm so pleased I can think of most of my flist belonging in that group. ^_^

Worried your eyes aren't bleeding? Try stereoscopic Tetris, as drhoz found. There, much better.

Oh, nomnomnom.. with the house empty on Wednesday afternoon, I felt like some cooking. So, needing to go out anyway, I wandered along a bit further to the nearby supermarket, and picked up a few useful bits for a Thai-inspired curry. Instant soup mix and boiling water, then two large hot peppers, three sliced garlic cloves, some basil, smoked hot paprika, and a couple chopped anchovies, making up the base. Then, for the meat, most of a small package of ground turkey I'd just bought, snipped into tiny meatballs; all left to seeth and fume amidst itself for a couple hours. Then, just when I was ready to eat, I added the vegetables: green beans, baby corn, and mangetout, and a few chopped crabsticks, and left it to steam away for a few minutes, leaving them nicely crunchy. Half of that plus some brown rice - most acceptable. ^_^

Oh man, that story sure made my morning coffee! Riot! As for the Lebowski action figures, bit out of my price range. It's rather doubtful I think that I'll ever find em in a thrift store. Pity.

P.S. Tell Mycroft I'm uber-cool and to add me eh?

P.P.S. You stole BBB's icon! Shame!
Oof! Not cheap, I agree - then again, these guys actually look like the originals. =:) (Though, the new sets of Doctor Who figures aren't bad, either. But if I had any experience with casting - and the space for it - I'd love to make a full Cyberman costume, new style. Could maybe make a furry version, though I'd be hard pressed to come up with something as cute as the nocona version, which made an all too brief appearance in the story)

Nope! *grin* Different icons of the same supremely gorgeous image. Truly a role model for us all. ^_^

(grin!)

Once upon a time, I had a fairly complete anthroecology set up of the DW universe. And far more threatening than the Daleks with bunny ears were the cold, metal, implacable, unstoppable.. Dobyrmen.

You'd have appreciated their aesthetics. Silver, shiny, Anubi. :D

Of course, these days I have seen the light: bunnies make /everything/ better.
Oooh.. don't suppose you have any sketches or full-fludged drawings from that time? Or even just notes? Could be rather a cool posting right there - or even a ready supply of emergency backup strips. ^_^

BTW, were you always a bunneh? There does seem to be a considerable gravitational pull.. AIUI, jakebe wasn't always as he is, either. Quite a curious phenomenon.. but then, it does take an awful lot to compete with such poses as this:

It's a truism indeed - shininess always improves things. As do bunnies. The two together would conquer the universe (in the cutest ways imaginable).
Oh JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ON A STICK! Can't load that page. Why? Well for one thing let's look at one of the buttons. PNG file... 54K... convert to JPG, 2,600 BYTES! Convert to GIF, 7,200 BYTES! WTF? Doesn't anyone know how to fucking construct a web page anymore? Jesus shit-balls! Oh, and now that it's finally loaded in every image before it loads the actual comic, it's taken too long so it doesn't load the actual comic. What has it downloaded?
515K of nothing. Heh, "Nothing Comes Naturally" Indeed!

Supremely gorgeous ass and tail you mean! That's enough to send me right over the edge into full-fledged homo. Aiee! FurFag queer agenda claims another victim!
Eep! I hadn't noticed - the buttons are somewhat digitally portly. The "next day" button goes from 55K down to a bit over 3K as a JPEG at quality 80 in GraphicConverter. (PNG only uses RLE compression, ne, like a 24-bit version of GIF? That'd be expensive with that swish background)

The strip is worth loading, though. ^_^

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Yay! Shall I get your complimentary latex t-shirt ready? ^_^

Yah, I'd say that there's a problem if the Prev/Next buttons on your web comic are larger than the strip.

Well let's see what we got already... Biker boots, check. Faded jeans with holes in the ass, check. Butch leather jacket, check. Nope, all set! All I need now is one of those leather hats and a handle-bar mustache.
