Console wars: Sony vs Nintendo vs Microsoft. Fight!

I was checking down this list of parts for the rev.A TiBook, and noticed an.. unusual entry in the "Misc" section.

If you're in the UK, and are looking for a fun break away from home, austin_dern noticed that Oasis Air is currently offering Gatwick-Hong Kong flights from £75 each way. (I couldn't get the flight search to work, though - kept returning me to the front page) They're intending to run Chicago and Oakland service later on as well.

mycroftb spotted this neat edit: Tony Blair: Should I Stay or Should I Go. Brilliant. ^_^ Not nearly as seamless as Chris Morris' "State of the Union", but great fun.

Somehow, this seems so very wrong.. peanut butter slices.

For a game suitable for children, Animal Crossing: Wild World does have some amusing clothing options available.. I've now got all four characters wearing a bodice (including the boy =:), gas mask, and bunny hood. ^_^

Yay! LJ comments are working for me again. (Yesterday, I had to check my last entry manually for any new comments)

It seems very pointless, at least. Pre-sliced cheese I can see, especially after you've broken the wire on the cutter for the six billionth time. But how hard is it to scoop peanut butter out of a jar and smear it on a piece of bread? I'll bet it tastes really lovely, too. But at least it's not quite as bad as putting peanut butter and jelly in the same jar. It'll probably sell by the truckload, though. And if people will buy it, I suppose I can't blame them for making it.
As the Simpsons put it so eloquently before the show jumped a whole line of sharks:

Grandpa: "I'm an old man, no one listens to me."
Lisa: "I'm a young girl, no one listens to me."
Homer: "I'm a white male aged 18 to 49, everyone listens to me, no matter how dumb my suggestions are."
He then goes to the cabinet and takes out a can of food titled, "Nuts and Gum: Together at Last."

Though all that does remind me how good the peanut butter burger at the Corvette Diner down in San Diego was.. just as it says, a good burger, with peanut butter where cheese would often belong. Prime for lashings of tabasco. (Not a hot sauce so much as a vinegary condiment, but it worked perfectly there)
