I am indeed indebted to ducktapeddonkey for noticing this.. first came the vibrator, and now, Rabbit Fever - the Movie (caution: audio auto-starts). And as Germaine Greer is quoted in the trailer, "Rabbits are good at pleasure". =:)

I'd seen Tintin and the Red Sea Sharks, and there've been some other quite good animated adventures, but I'd never known of Tintin et la Toison d'Or until recently. It's a wonderfully authentic adaptation, with the cast being uncanny resemblances of their characters - sadly, no English subtitles appear to exist currently, but it's great fun even catching but a part of what's said. ^_^

patch_bunny pointed out the trailer for The Bridge - a look at one of the most famous bridges in the world, of supreme elegance, and here, the destination for some seeking an exit from this world.

When eBay takes over your life.. is this how giro_batol will wind up? =:)

And pic for the day has to be UltraViolet's shiny rendition of andysquirrel, over here. NSFW.

Oh. Wow. Man, I wonder how much space she's save by taking things out of boxes..... well, that, and now I no longer feel so bad about collecting so much anime, and letting stuff pile up in my room... nowhere close to _that_ bad yet.
Do you still have these "VHS" things I hear about? (Video, on tape? It'll never catch on) Amazing how much of a difference DVDs/DVD-Rs make, especially with slimline cases or paper sleeves.. especially with commercial anime, where two episodes per tape seemed common. :-P Pity Birdy the Mighty and Fairy Princess Ren never went beyond that many - I loved the idea of BdM, and FPR was just gloriously manic.

At least I'll be able to use some of the boxes I've been collecting today - time to get my room shifted to the new place. Shouldn't be a big matter, given it's a pretty small room - once I've got the DVDs boxed (and the loose ones protected), it's then just the Bits, like a phone cord, some wasabi, a surplus 802.11b card, a Magnolia Cafe beer mat.. ^_^

I'm hoping the line's active in the new place - it should be, so I ought to have at least access to dialup until the DSL goes live there, which should be by Wednesday. (Me, a network addict? Never =:)
